Day Trip - Snow Geese and Dairy Cattle
All are welcome: KT active campers, alumni, friends and guests!
Meet at the First Church parking lot across from Central Auditorium at 10:00 am. We will caravan to Parma and take a look at a huge dairy cattle replacement operation, the annual return of the snow geese, and a large heron rookery. And we'll top it off with lunch at Apple Lucy's! The event will last about three hours.

Day Trip - Oregon's Largest Flea Market
Sumpter, Oregon
There is no wagonmaster or sign-up sheet for this event, so please take this as an opportunity for an individual day out, or as a suggestion for forming your own small group event. Rusty has gotten confirmation from the event sponsors that it will indeed be taking place as scheduled, so, if you go, you will be rewarded by seeing one of Oregon's largest and busiest flea markets.
Also, the Sumpter Valley Railroad will be running July 3rd and 4th, with four trains scheduled each day. Click here to check the SVRR web site for more info.

For dining, sightseeing or just relaxing in camp, McCall and Ponderosa State Park have it all! Our preferred sites are in the Dogwood and Elderberry loops. Trailing of the Sheep
Hailey, Idaho
Each year, in the Hailey-Ketchum-Sun Valley area of Idaho, the Trailing of the Sheep Festival celebrates the return of the sheep from a summer of grazing in the high country, to the protection and safety of their winter pastures. And in doing so, the festival celebrates the traditions that have developed in the 150-year history of the sheep industry in Idaho. Click here to see the colorful Festival web site.
Note: this day trip is scheduled for a Sunday because it is the only day they herd the sheep through Hailey.
