Birding Activity, High Valley,   Saturday June 14

Howard  will be heading up Birding Activity for Saturday, June 14 up to High Valley.

More details to come about when, where, carpooling, etc. No charges, Picnic, opportunity to invite friends who aren’t a part of our group.

Fidalgo Bay, Washington   August  17 - 22

Campout research by Ray & Gail and Howard. Please get in touch with Gail for further information. It will be a two-day drive to Fidalgo Bay, so we'll head out Sunday the 17th, with an overnight stay in Kennewick, Washington, at the Columbia Sun RV Resort. We'll consider the campout  over when we depart Fidalgo Bay on the 22nd. Our rigs will be headed in many directions, as we pursue our individual adventures!

Here’s updated information for Fidalgo Bay Camp; we need to sign up by February 15-16.

Welcome to the KT Fidalgo Bay Group!

I’ve spoken with Shantelly at Fidalgo Bay several times about our trip. She had hoped they would be able give us a code for early registration for our group. However, our group is not large enough to qualify for this. She was very helpful in giving clear instructions about what we need to do. 

Here’s the procedure we must follow in order to reserve our sites and cabins:

Our stay at Fidalgo Bay is August 18-22. 

Note:  if you are bringing your RV, you will want leave August 17 and stay in Kennewick at Columbia Sun RV Resort that night. 

We can reserve no earlier than February 16 for August 18 arrival. You will need to go online to Fidalgobay.com on Saturday night, February 15, and be ready to book at 12:01 AM on the 16th. I asked about the time zone difference. She said she thinks it will still be midnight for us….I’m doubtful. It could be 1:00 AM for us. YIKES!  🥱🥱

You can only reserve one night on that date. After you make your reservation, then you will call 360-293-5353 and leave a voicemail stating your name, King’s Travelers and the number of your site or cabin. Tell them you also want to reserve the space for August 19, 20, and 21. (Depart on 22). They will do this for you during their office hours on Sunday. They take the messages in the order they are received so that’s why it is important to leave your message in the middle of the night. 

 Shantelly said the following RV sites are available on August 18:  site # 23, 24, 25, 26. They are all back in sites. Cost is $50 + tax/night. 

Several from our group are interested in renting a cabin. Standard one bed cabin with kitchenette is $147+tax/night. 

Cabin #3 and #5 are one bedroom. 

One bedroom  with loft are $162+tax/night. 

Cabins # 6,7,8 are I bed plus loft.
